About 12 years ago I bought 8 acres in La Grange, got a double wide and spent almost every weekend there. 3 years ago I got the opportunity to work from home so I sold my home in Cypress and moved here. I couldn’t wait to NOT have to sit in traffic on 290 driving to work every day. Only traffic here is when you get behind a tractor moving hay. I’m so happy I’m in the country during this Covid “crisis”. Still wearing masks but not nearly as restrictive as the “big cities”.

I officially retired January 2020 after working in advertising for 40 years. I have a son in Austin and a son and daughter-in-law in New Braunfels so we get together when possible. Chuy, my red heeler, keeps me company and my only neighbors are cows so I can run around naked and no one complains. LOL.

My favorite saying: You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need.

Yes, I plan to attend the reunion if at all possible!
